August (13-15) Campout - Fort Fisher / Kuri Beach

Posted on Jul 19 2010 - 4:23pm

Hey folks,
Our August campout is fast approaching with the planning efforts being lead by our Senior Staff.   This will be a trip filled with sun and sand as we head to Fort Fisher August 13th-15th spending time enjoying ourselves on Kure Beach.    With there being no meetings planned for July 26th and August 2nd, we really need to try and get a solid headcount of scouts and adults planning to go on the campout this coming Monday night.    We will have permission forms available to be filled out, so if you can come prepared to sign up, that would be great.  The cost will be $30/scout to cover travel, patrol food for the weekend, and the campsite rental.

We hope you are able to make it as we look forward to a weekend of beach fun!

Scouts;
This is a camporee you probably do not want to miss, as I have been talking with counsel and this is going to be one of the best camporees we have had in a long time.  If you have had any hesitation in attending this camporee, give it another thought, as I have been told they are going all out for this one.
